MSE Audio Introduces Soundtube STNet Dante-Enabled Outdoor Surface Mount Speakers

MSE Audio, the parent company of SoundTube Entertainment, Soundsphere, dARTS, Phase Technology, Induction Dynamics, SolidDrive and Rockustics, announced the availability of its latest SoundTube Entertainment STNet IPD-SM52-EZ and IPD-SM82-EZ-II speakers, designed to bring Dante-enabled capabilities outdoors. The new STNet speakers can be setup, managed and monitored in real-time through SoundTube software, simply connected with a Dante audio network.

The STNet IPD-SM52-EZ and IPD-SM82-EZ-II are Dante compatible, allowing them to be compatible and operate with a host of other products worldwide. The STNet outdoor surface mount speakers feature digital signals with power sent directly to the speakers through a standard category network cable. DSP management with crossover, time correction and EQ can all be completed conveniently in the digital domain. By pairing with SoundTube's ST-NET Switch, the speakers are driven with up to 40 watts PoE, providing the audio output necessary for outdoor applications. All STNet speaker are also compatible with standard PoE or PoE+ switches.

SoundTube’s STNet bi-amped surface mount speakers use SoundTube’s BroadBeam Ring high-frequency dispersion technology for clear, understandable messaging and music over a wide area. The IPD-SM52-EZ is a 5.25” cost-conscious, yet robust, surface-mount loudspeaker with one 5.25-inch polypropylene woofer and one 1-inch soft dome tweeter. The IPD-SM82-EZ-II features the same cost-conscious benefits of the 5” version in a larger size, including a 8” woofer and 1” tweeter, for exceptional coverage in larger areas. The STNet IPD-SM52-EZ and IPD-SM82-EZ-II feature unparalleled versatility through the SoundTube software. All STNet speakers can be setup, managed and monitored in real-time through the software.

The IPD-SM52-EZ and IPD-SM82-EZ-II speakers are designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, featuring polypropylene woofers, soft dome tweeters and the option of sealed or ported enclosures. For extreme weather applications, a stainless bracket and port plug are available as accessories to create a fully-waterproof, IP-rated audio system.
